**Private Client Associate/Senior Associate - Glasgow - Legal500 Ranked Team**
Oculus Legal Group have been retained by our award-winning and Legal500 ranked client to assist with the expansion of their well-regarded Private Client team in Glasgow in line with continued growth. Our client is ideally looking to bolster their existing offering at both an Associate and Senior Associate level, with this role offering a hybrid working pattern.
Appointment Summary
This opportunity is ideal for a Private Client Solicitor looking to advance their career within a friendly and supportive team. As either an Associate or Senior Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on a range of private client matters, including Wills, Executries, Trusts, and Tax Planning.
- Handling complex estate planning cases and offering bespoke advice tailored to high-net-worth individuals.
- Collaborating with other departments to grow the private client offering through innovative business development strategies and cross-referrals.
- Taking on a leadership role, particularly if applying for the Senior Associate position, mentoring junior team members, and helping shape the future of the private client practice.
Required Background(s)
- For the Associate role, 3+ years PQE in private client matters, with demonstrable experience in executries, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and guardianships.
- For the Senior Associate role, 6+ years PQE with a strong track record in handling high-value or complex private client matters and experience in leading or supporting junior members of a private client team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centric approach and attention to detail.
- A passion for private client law and a proactive attitude towards networking and business development.
