Senior Commercial Officer, with international travel to North America –
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus
Location: Hybrid working, Glasgow – suitable for candidates based in Scotland.
We are seeking a driven Senior Commercial Officer to join a dynamic team in the defence sector, supporting a high-profile international programme. This hybrid role offers flexibility with a mix of home and office-based work, making it ideal for someone based in or around Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and deliver key commercial activities in line with contract requirements.
- Provide commercial support for bids, change proposals, and governance processes.
- Interface with clients, offering updates and resolving issues collaboratively.
- Offer guidance to internal project teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience with commercial contracts and governance processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of commercial principles, techniques, and practices.
- A team player, capable of working across various departments.
Desirable but not essential:
- Awareness of legal processes related to contracts.
