Treasury Risk Manager

The Role
We have a brand new exciting opportunity for a Treasury Risk Manager to join the Group Finance Team!
You will be responsible for managing all operational treasury risk management activities for the Group, including financial risk management, counterparty exposure and liquidity management in line with the strategy set by the Group Treasurer.
You will identify and manage treasury risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls as well as external rules and regulations.
This role can be based in one of our offices in the North West England – Preston, Barrow-in-Furness or Knutsford, and we offer hybrid working.
Principle Accountabilities
- Management of the Treasury front office.
- Day-to-day FX management and execution and funding/liquidity risks.
- Assisting with the development of the Group’s FX risk management strategy.
- Reviewing local FX/funding activities and providing direction to business.
- Responsible for the monthly treasury report, ensuring compliance with the risk management framework.
- Analysing the group's interest rate and foreign exchange risks and recommending appropriate strategies.
- Preparing treasury financial monthly reporting and input into the interim and annual accounts.
- Developing the Group’s cash and currency forecasting process inclusive of variance analysis.
- Supporting the development of risk policies, procedures and counterparty exposure.
- Support the wider Treasury team.
Qualifications and Experience
- ACT member or a fully qualified Accountant.
- Finance and treasury risk management experience.
- Experience working to tight deadlines.
- Experience in management reporting and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
