Role Overview
This pivotal position offers a competitive package of £80,000 + bonus + benefits, reflecting the importance of the role within the organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in supporting and advising boards and committees across the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the governance framework, ensuring effective reporting and escalation
- Lead coordination of board and committee meetings
- Setting agendas and overseeing board pack production
- Annually review the effectiveness of board and committees
- Manage data protection governance
- Support governance initiatives and projects
- Oversight of legal agreements and also assist with statutory filings
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone with:
- 3-7 years of relevant experience
- Ideally CGI qualified or equivalent qualifications
- Strong understanding of company law and FCA governance expectations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
