As part of our expansion, we are looking for dynamic and ambitious Sales Development Representatives to join our sales team. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and generating new business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to initiate contact with potential clients, qualify leads, and set up meetings for the sales team. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and research potential clients within the target market, focusing on businesses that could benefit from our cyber security solutions.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate new leads and create interest in our services.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs, pain points, and current security posture.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and messaging.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and detailed records of all interactions with prospects.
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients, ensuring a positive experience from the first point of contact.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the cyber security industry to effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects.
- Assist with follow-up activities after sales meetings, ensuring a smooth transition of leads to the sales team.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and meeting scheduling.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients.
- A keen interest in cyber security and a desire to learn about the industry.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Resilience and perseverance in overcoming objections and challenges.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and learn on the job.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably within the technology or cyber security sectors, is advantageous.
- Experience with CRM tools.
- Welsh speaker.

Salary: £26,000pa + dependent on experience, plus uncapped commission
