The Opportunity:
This is a new role ensuring our continued growth across diverse markets and focus on positioning our range of Azure technology, advisory and managed services to mid-market and enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the growth of our cloud services by identifying new business opportunities and building strategic partnerships,
This position requires a strong understanding of Microsoft cloud solutions and experience in developing strategies to scale cloud-based services across various markets.
Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities for cloud services across multiple industries.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with technical & marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning for cloud offerings.
Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to optimize product offerings and business strategies.
Client Engagement: Lead the engagement with new enterprise clients, understand their business needs, and provide tailored cloud solutions.
Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with new clients ensuring favourable terms for the company.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our other pillars ensuring that all services are introduced
Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed revenue targets by developing and executing sales strategies in line with company goals.
The Person
- A Proven track record of selling Microsoft digital transformation solutions
- Consultative new business hunter with a structured approach to building and developing a territory
- 7+ years of proven business development experience selling technology and/or professional services, with track record of consistently exceeding annual targets
- In depth understanding of Microsoft solution / cloud platform and experience of solving customer challenges through solution selling
- Proven track record of selling into target mid-market and enterprise clients across diverse industries
- Proven ability to establish client relationships at multiple levels and orchestrate through complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Proactive sales approach building relationships across the business
- Sales hunter attitude to building/closing pipeline
- Self-starter and ability to work independently acting on own initiative
- Takes Personal Ownership of work and interactions
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Articulate both verbally and written
- Tenacity/persistence and an assertive mentality
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Commercially minded with natural business acumen and ability to assimilate numbers/financials quickly
