- ADP iHCM payroll, ADP Workforce Manager timekeeping, or other ADP payroll software.
- Full Time Office
- Project experience – system implementations, upgrades, etc.
- Volumes up to 1500 across multiple payrolls (UK & EMEA)
- Managing a team of 4.
- CIPP level 5 minimum
Job Summary:
The Payroll Manager will oversee and manage the payroll function for approximately 1,450 employees across the nation. This role ensures the organisations fulfils its contractual, statutory, and legal obligations to employees, guaranteeing accurate and timely monthly payroll processing. The Payroll Manager will support and guide the implementation of changes in response to evolving business needs, including new technology and acquisitions. This includes designing and implementing effective systems and business processes through collaboration with various departments.
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in Payroll Management, with experience in supervising individual contributors and teams.
- CIPP qualified (minimum Level 5) and a member of the CIPP.
- Proven ability to recruit and identify suitable team members.
- Experience in training, coaching, and developing team members and colleagues.
- Strong team player with a proven ability to coordinate staff efforts to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present information effectively to senior management.
- Solid understanding of change management principles and systems integration.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering strong working relationships with colleagues across departments (e.g., HR, Finance, IT) and external partners, while effectively resolving issues and driving positive outcomes.
- Proactive approach with keen attention to detail, demonstrating the ability to organize and lead a team to meet strict deadlines.
- Methodical and detail-oriented, with the ability to monitor and control processes and procedures effectively.
- Strong project planning and management skills to direct and engage team members as needed.
- Professional demeanour and behaviour, exhibiting a high level of personal integrity.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to achieving results with enthusiasm.
- Forward-thinking mindset with a focus on continuous improvement of systems and processes.
