Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced BMS (Building Management Systems) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of BMS systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
-Managing the subcontractor to ensure the works are completed in line with project documentation.
-Reviewing shop drawings and coordinate with other departments to ensure full functionality of the system
-Coordinating the material flow as per site schedule
-Supervise installation of BMS hardware and software ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards
-Ensure all BMS installations comply with relevant health and safety regulations and stay updated on changes in building codes and BMS technologies.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related discipline
-Relevant vocational qualifications – e.g HNC/HND in Electrical / Mechanical engineering
-Understanding of HVAC systems, lighting controls and energy management systems
-5-8 Years in building management systems
-CSCS site qualification
