Job Overview
Looking for a dynamic and experienced Performance Management & People Development Specialist to lead the development and implementation of a new performance management system and an enhanced colleague value proposition. This role will involve collaborating across departments to design and roll out key initiatives, including flexible benefits, a skills matrix for internal roles, and robust performance management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management System Implementation:
- Lead the design and implementation of a new performance management system that aligns with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure that the system drives productivity, engagement, and accountability.
- Train managers and colleagues on new processes and tools.
Colleague Value Proposition:
- Develop a compelling and market-competitive colleague value proposition, incorporating flexible benefits that meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
- Work with HR and external vendors to source and implement benefit packages that enhance employee experience and retention.
- Research and benchmark industry best practices to offers a competitive and attractive employment package.
Skills Matrix Development:
- Design and introduce a comprehensive skills matrix for internal roles, clearly defining skills, competencies, and career progression opportunities
- Collaborate with leadership to assess the current workforce’s skills and identify gaps that need to be addressed through training and development.
- Partner with Learning & Development to align training programs with the skills matrix.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in implementing performance management systems and/or people development initiatives.
- Strong understanding of talent management, employee benefits, and engagement strategies.
- Experience in designing skills matrices and aligning them with career progression frameworks.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Change management experience, particularly in the context of HR transformation, is preferred.
- HR or CIPD qualification would be an advantage.
