Development Chemist – Electrochemistry
Overview
Delve Recruitment are currently working with an innovative and well-established business within the water treatment sector, who supply globally, that are looking to add a Development Chemist to the team.
The Role
Reporting directly into the R&D Manager, this is a brand new role due to company and project expansion. They have a new electrochemical reactor that needs taking through the commercialisation process of designing, developing and improving process parameters. This is a hands on role where you will be conducting experiments at R&D/pilot stage and working closely with the rest of the R&D team, Process Engineers, Senior Chemists and Material Scientists.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing projects to develop and improve manufactured products
- Optimising electrochemical reactor parameters to enhance performance levels
- Designing experiments from R&D through to pilot stage
- Discuss ideas for products/improvements
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree qualified in Chemistry or a closely related subject
- Strong understanding of electrochemistry and materials science
- Prior experience working with electrochemical reactors (or systems such as distillation)
- Prior experience in NPI for electrochemical reactors
