Salary: £65,010 - £71,729 + 10% KPI performance bonus
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
MLK Search are seeking an experienced and dynamic Headteacher to join a brand new ASC and Speech, Language & Communication Needs school for children aged 7-19 years that opened its doors in September 2024.
We are seeking an individual with successful leadership within an Autism School or resourced provision, and who may have had prior experience of opening a new school.
You will play a pivotal role in inspiring, motivating, and empowering our dedicated staff and students. We are seeking a leader who embodies the core values and can guide the community towards success.

Key Requirements for Applicants:
- A wealth of experience working as a Head Teacher in a similar ASC environment or setting.
- In-depth knowledge of designing and delivering a varied curriculum for all levels of Autism.
- Good understanding of the School Improvement process, effective curriculum models, and the development of processes to help the school move towards an outstanding rating.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of the Independent School Standards.
- Ability to motivate, drive, and support staff and pupils using a person-centered approach.
- A real “can-do, will-do” attitude, with the desire to succeed and improve our school.
- Excellent communication and top-quality relationship-building skills.
- Qualified Teacher status
