Salary: £25K to £30K (Depending on work experience)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct Interviews: Conduct comprehensive and insightful interviews with prospective students, either in person or through virtual platforms, to assess their compatibility with the Elizabeth School's mission, values, and educational philosophy.
- Evaluate Applicants: Review applications, transcripts, test scores, and other relevant materials to assess applicants' academic potential, extracurricular involvement, character, and overall fit for the school.
- Have a good understanding of the admissions process, as well as an understanding of academic qualifications and what level they are.
- Collaborate with the admissions and interview team: Work closely with the team to ensure smooth coordination of all aspects of the admissions process, including application review, interview scheduling, and decision-making.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and organised records of all applicants, including interview notes, evaluations, and other relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
- Attend Admission Events: Represent the Elizabeth School at admissions events, such as open houses, school fairs, and information sessions. Present the school's values and programs to potential students and families and provide personalised guidance based on their needs.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of current trends and best practices in the field of admissions and education. Continuously develop knowledge of the Elizabeth School's offerings and educational advancements to effectively communicate with prospective families.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in education, English, languages, psychology, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in admissions, education or a similar role is highly desirable. Prior experience in editing or assessing writing is also highly desirable.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences. Active listening skills to understand and address the concerns of prospective students and effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with applicants. Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanour throughout the admissions process.
- Analytical and Decision-Making Abilities: Strong analytical skills to assess applicants' qualifications, potential, and fit for the Elizabeth School. Make informed and fair decisions based on comprehensive evaluations.
- Organisational Skills: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise work effectively, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is essential when reviewing applications and maintaining accurate records.
- Ethical Standards: Display a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive information related to applicants and the admissions process.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with technology and able to adapt to different virtual interview platforms and software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with admissions software is a plus.
