Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our dynamic team in Altrincham, The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex commercial disputes and a strong understanding of litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of contract disputes, contested probate/inheritance disputes, boundary disputes, TOLATA, general employment issues, Landlord and Tenant, settlement agreements etc.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in relation to debt recovery and dispute resolution strategies.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, statements of case, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analyse case law to support litigation strategies.
- Represent clients in court and other dispute resolution forums, including mediation and arbitration.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic advice.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm’s profile in the commercial litigation sector.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications + Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to commercial disputes, debt recovery, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
