Role Overview:
This individual will play a key role in setting up and managing the company’s digital marketing efforts across various business divisions. You will be responsible for working with multiple stakeholders, each with unique priorities, to ensure our digital presence is optimised and continually evolving to meet the needs of the business. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, can manage multiple priorities, and thrives in a data driven marketing role.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to improve visibility and engagement across the company’s brands.
- Set up and manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads) ensuring optimal performance.
- Ensure the company’s websites and brands rank highly on organic searches, with a strong understanding of SEO, Google algorithms, and reporting.
- Analyse campaign performance through data and analytics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Manage social media streams, primarily Instagram and Facebook, ensuring consistency and high-quality content.
- Execute email marketing campaigns via MailChimp or similar, including testing and database segmentation.
Website Management:
- Maintain and update website content using WordPress, ensuring smooth functionality and brand consistency.
- Work with multiple stakeholders for more complex web and design / copywriting tasks while overseeing day-to-day content management.
Design & Creative:
- Create digital marketing materials, such as event invitations, brochures, and other ad-hoc design work using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Ensure that marketing materials are of a high quality, align with the company’s brand and tone of voice guidelines and support marketing initiatives across various channels.
Project & Campaign Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment across departments and prioritising tasks to meet business goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
- Use analytics to monitor the success of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Key Requirements:
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, with a focus on SEO and paid search (Google Ads).
- Proficient in Google Analytics to track and report on campaign performance.
- Strong graphic design skills, with competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Experience managing WordPress websites for content updates and maintenance.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications e.g. Excel, PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) and email campaigns using tools like MailChimp.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders, with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach, focused on execution and delivering results rather than high-level strategy.
- Enjoys working with data, analytics, and metrics to improve campaign outcomes.
Desirable:
- Degree in Marketing, Arts, or a related field.
- CIM qualification.
- Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry.
- Able to produce compelling & impactful written copy for a range of audiences & a range of projects (e.g. adverts / email campaigns / articles’).
Experience:
- Experience in managing Google Ads, SEO, social media, and graphic design.
- Proven ability to work across multiple projects and stakeholders with differing priorities.
