What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Persimmon Homes Yorkshire Sales Team.
The role is to lead and manage the team effectively, ensuring they achieve their sales goals and offer guidance or training when needed and most importantly work collaborative towards providing customers the best New Home purchasing experience.
The hours for this role will be 35 hours working Thursday - Monday.
The role will include:
- Manage the team effectively, including setting clear objectives, conducting professional development reviews, coaching and training to ensure employees achieve both their full potential and company targets.
- Oversee all communication and administration associated with sales transactions, including liaising with Solicitors, Estate Agents and Financial Institutions to ensure required documentation is provided and the home sale is audit compliant.
- Monitor and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to assess the progress of the Sales advisor team to ensure monetary and volume targets are met.
- Manage customer sales complaints.
- Work cohesively with other departments across the Operating Company such as Construction, Commercial and Legal to ensure achievement of completion targets and timely updates relating to plot progress.
- Advocate the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy while ensuring compliance throughout the team to ensure health and safety standards are met.
What we need from you?
- Able to work Thursday - Mondays
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Package, including Excel and Word
- Previous experience managing a sales team is essential
- Full UK Driving Licence is required
