About the Role
Rubicon Partners is looking to appoint a new Private Equity Associate to join their small but highly skilled team. As with all other members of the investment team, you will be a generalist and be involved with all areas of the firm’s activities:
- Sourcing new investments
- Executing the transaction to complete a new investment
- Governing the investment and creating value
- Exiting the investment
- Fund-raising and fund management
As a Private Equity Associate, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis of market trends, and identifying the most lucrative investment opportunities on behalf of the business.
Your role will involve direct engagement with businesses to understand their unique requirements and develop tailored investment strategies that align with their financial goals.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- At least 7 years of transaction/acquisition/investment experience from a related sector (e.g. a Private Equity, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting or Transaction Advisory), or from an acquisitive business within the broader industrial sector.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
- Ambitious and driven; after a few years there will be the opportunity to advance within the organisation
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills.
