Facilities & Utilities Engineer

Sutton

£44,000 - £48,000 (DOE)

Monday - Friday Days

Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will have full responsibility in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities and utilities critical to the production process.

Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for all site facilities and utilities.
Perform daily checks at all site facilities to ensure functionality and safety
Identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency and sustainability.
Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed.
Manage on-site contractors, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Prioritize site facility improvement projects.
Manage site documentation, including site plans, electrical plans, and installation records.
Produce (SOPs) for all facility and utility assets for the site engineering team.

Qualifications

Competent in carrying out machinery installations.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with HV/LV systems, chilled water systems, air compressors, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Strong understanding of compliance regulations
Good understanding of the Permit to Work system
Experience managing small to mid-scale projects.
