Be Principal of your own PQA performing arts academy
- Do you have a deep connection and affinity for the performing arts, but find yourself tired of doing jobs that don’t allow you to express it?
- Are you frustrated at always being told that you have to make a compromise between a career in doing something that you love and something that can make money?
- Excited about the idea of working with children, and giving back to the next generation of talent in your community?
Then we want to hear from you!
At PQA, we are looking for creative, inspirational individuals to join our network of Principals running their own performing arts academies across the UK.
About the PQA opportunity
We want to be clear that this is not a job opportunity, it’s so much better. This is a chance to build something for yourself by setting up and running your own business offering part time performing arts programmes to children aged 4-18. All with the support and financial backing of a nationwide business with more than 200 academies across the UK. With PQA, you will never be on your own.
We are not a Franchise, so you don’t pay a fee to start
You may have come across Franchise opportunities before, and that’s not who we are.
At PQA we are proudly different and unlike every other Performing Arts franchise - you don’t pay any upfront franchise fee to get started. In fact, quite the opposite - we actually invest in you as you set up and start your business. What this means is that we provide the best pathway to running a business, without the financial obstacles that may otherwise get in your way.
What we are looking for in a Principal
At PQA, we understand that taking the leap into a new career can be intimidating. Particularly if you don’t have experience in running a business in the past.
The good news? You don’t need a performing arts, education, or business background to thrive with PQA – we support successful PQA principals from all walks of life. Instead, your main focus will be to manage and work creatively with a team of teachers, build relationships with children and families, and watch your business expand across your territory.
At the same time, we’ve got your back with over 15 years of experience and unwavering support at every step to help fill in the gaps in your skillset.
What you’ll get when you join PQA:
- An exclusive territory to operate your PQA within
- The most comprehensive pre-opening support in the industry
- Up to £10,000 of marketing - fully funded and managed by us
- Assistance in finding and negotiating your venue and recruiting your teachers
- A hugely experienced team at PQA HQ
- Five days residential training on how to run the business
- A dedicated Business Manager
- Your own academy page on the PQA website
- An online state of the art booking system for your customers
- A cutting edge cloud based IT system that allows you to seamlessly manage your business
- A free iPad as part of your starter pack
- The ongoing support of an amazing network of peers
What we need from you:
We’re looking for people who love the performing arts, want to work with children, and are ready to put in the hard work to deliver a high quality service to kids in their community.
- A passion for working with children
- A desire to build a strong and thriving business
- A commitment to making a real difference in the lives of others
- The ability to collaborate with others towards a common goal
- To be prepared to make a modest initial investment
With minimal investment, and a flexible work-life balance, a PQA academy is a chance to build the career that you have always wanted in a way that matches your lifestyle.
If this resonates with you, please apply now to learn more about PQA and join hundreds of other people like you that have the pleasure of running their own business whilst enriching the lives of children.
