EARLY YEARS TRAINER
Location: This position is a flexible hybrid role, consisting of home-based working and travelling to various locations for teaching and delivery of workshops.
Pay rate: £14534 - £15093 per year
Hours: 21.5 hours per week
Including some weekend working, and travel to locations across the company.

As a result of growth, we are now recruiting for an Early Years Trainer to join our dynamic team.
About You
Here at Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team, you will be one of the first points of contact for our new colleagues and learners. You will deliver exceptional training and develop real bonds with both the learners and managers. You will build excellent relationships with people and managers across the business to provide consistent and robust training services, that are in line with legislation, internal policies, and organisational approach.
Essential skills & experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- You must have superb time-keeping skills and able to work on your own initiative, always prioritising your workload.
- IT competency
- Due to the nature of this role, you will need to possess your own vehicle and hold a valid Driver’s Licence and be willing to travel across the company.
Desirable skills & experience:
- A level 3 qualification in Early Years / Education, or equivalent, is desirable and/or have significant occupational competency in the Early Years / Education sector.
- A teaching qualification (e.g. AET) would be advantageous. Alternatively, candidates must be willing to work towards this qualification.
- A First Aid at Work (FAW) Qualification, Alternatively, candidates must be willing to work towards this qualification.
Your Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Be responsible for managing and delivering a range of workshops, including Safeguarding, Positive Behaviour Management and Paediatric First Aid
- Creating appropriate solutions for your learners to ensure they have the best learning experience possible
- Always implementing Equal opportunities
- Keep up to date with changes to policies and adapt training content accordingly
- Work with Training Administrators to ensure attendance is recorded, and effective systems are in place
- Support Quality team and settings, through OMEP/ESC including baseline, coaching, and final audit.
- Quality Assurance for workshops and courses
