Our Corporate Tax team is seeking an Tax Director, who has experience inCorporate Tax Compliance. This role will be instrumental in leading the delivery of UK corporate tax compliance work for clients in a range of industries including high street brands. In addition, you will be taking responsibility for client relationships, delivering client assignments to ensure the expedient delivery of services required.
Your responsibilities
Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
- Lead Client Relationships: Oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, providing expert tax compliance and advisory services. Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Deliver Technical Expertise: Provide comprehensive tax advice on a range of complex issues and liaise with our technical teams in areas including transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group reorganisations, patent box.
- Business Development: Although not an integral part of the role, you will contribute to business development initiatives, building relationships with potential clients and collaborating with directors to expand our corporate tax offering.
- Mentor and Develop: Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues in other departments to identify tax-related opportunities and risks for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to service delivery.
What you need:
- Proven experience as a Corporate Tax Director or equivalent role
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax law and regulations
- Experience in corporate tax compliance
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and results-oriented approach
- Ability to work on multiple complex assignments
- Business development skills
- Acknowledged as a Tax expert
- Qualified CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA
