Role:Information Assurance Consultant
Type: Permanent
Location: Remote (Travel to client site)
Salary: £60,000-65,000
Clearance: SC/DV preferred

We are proud to be supporting a SME consultancy who are looking to bolster their ranks with another Information Assurance consultant to help deliver on their pipeline of work. The company have a great record of delivering assurance outcomes, and this opportunity is to deliver along with them but also develop your own skills. Their Cyber practice is a burgeoning function for them, and this role will allow you to support customers with innovative and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments of Cyber Security posture as well as guiding improvements
- Engage with stakeholders of various levels to ensure security improvements
- Assist with the development and implementation of security controls and architecture
- Create and develop Information Security documentation such as RMADS
- Communicate technical concepts and ideas to a non-technical audience
- Help work on the IA elements of sector specific assessments such as CVIs
Essential Skills:
- Experience working within defence either from a consulting position or time in the military
- Deep appreciation for the concepts that underpin things like Information Assurance, Risk Management or Cyber Security
- Degree in a related field
- Understanding of industry standards, such as CAF, NIS or ISO 27001
- Ideally you’ll hold industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or other
