Having two of the biggest utility businesses as their majority share holders this business is a heavy hitter with a solid understanding of vehicle leasing, fleet management and maintenance services that are operationally efficient, innovative and compliant. Suppling, managing and maintaining fleets of all sizes with commercial vans, company cars, bespoke specialist vehicles, HGVs and heavy duty plant equipment across the UK. Their customers include the utilities businesses themselves but also end user fleets meaning they are well placed to ensure the best is the only option.
Driven to provide the best service, these guys have a great culture and ethics within the tight nit business which has a feeling of a family unit but with robust processes of a corporate giant to ensure they are not skimping on the service or efficiencies for the customer.
Requirements
As a Fleet Management Controller you will be looking after a team of 6 controllers but you will have an eye for detail on process management, data and analytics, spreadsheets and importantly -management skills to support the team on daily duties, updates, project management with senior leadership and supporting on new projects to drive the business forward. This is a role that will require you to get your sleeves rolled up from time to time, lead by example whilst also supporting the Operations Director where required with ideas for the team, the business, process changes and liaising with internal teams to share updates and best practice.

About you:
I am looking for a people manager with experience of Fleet Management, Logistic/Transport Management and or operations within the HGV, Plant, Bus and Coach sectors that is driven to look for the detail in everything that they do and ensure that they and the team are meeting and exceeding expectations for the customer whilst also being proactive in the management of the assets
