Full job descriptionJob Overview:
Due to company growth we have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join our expanding team at Stair Formwork. The ideal person will assist the Operations Manager with quoting products to clients. There may be opportunities to grow and progress within the company in different areas for the right person.
Who we are:
Stair Formwork is a fabrication company based in the outskirts of Whittlesey, Peterborough. We specialise in the fabrication of lightweight steel formwork and balustrades for the Construction industry. We are a rapidly expanding team providing our products to the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
· Quoting jobs for new and existing clients.
· Revising existing quotations and adjusting as necessary.
· Chasing existing enquiries, keeping quotations active
· Assisting the Operations manager with ordering materials, stock sheets and purchase order tracking.
· Various admin duties associated with the above.
Required Experience:
· Estimating experience, preferably within Engineering/Construction industry
· Experience with specialist quoting software is desirable but not essential
· Good team player, can do attitude, good time management.
· Experience within Microsoft Excel is essential
· Proficient written and verbal communication skills
· CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit) desirable but not essential, training will be provided
· Relevant Qualifications within Estimating desirable
· A full UK driving license is preferred due to location
