We are now seeking to recruit Technical Authors on our exciting 20 year PPP project.
You'll be responsible for collating technical information from a variety of sources including manufacturers/suppliers, colleagues and consortium partners and from there producing technical specifications manuals for operation and maintenance.
You'll need to be skilled and experienced at interpreting technical detail/specifications and converting them into a variety of different formats, taking the end user into consideration.
With great communication skills and a sharp eye for detail, you'll enjoy pulling information together, disseminating it and turning into meaningful and 'fit for' information for the end user.
You will probably have gained your experience in an engineering/technical/construction environment, and some formal technical qualifications (ONC or above in an Engineering/Construction related subject), but more importantly you'll be able to work in a team who possess a 'can do' attitude and you may even be able to bring some new ideas and a different perspective to the nuclear industry.
