The team at NET Recruit are delighted to be partnering with a nationally recognised business to support their search for a Pensions Data Lead to join their team in the South Yorkshire area. With a strong history of providing a high quality service to millions of customers, which has led this business to developing a nationally acclaimed and recognised brand, this business is experience excellent success currently and looking to expand many of their core functions, including their pensions team.
Specifically, this individual will be working within the wider pensions team, delivering comprehensive and detailed reporting and analysis for the business to support on decision making regarding the pension plan and benefits scheme. The position holder will be expected to understand and provide insightful information on data integrity, alongside system extracts and testing to support Bulk Data migrations and reconciliations.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Conducting design checks regarding data integrity, completeness and accuracy, providing reporting and extracts from the results to summarise data with explanations
- Comparing and working with large data extracts, summarising this to be used for decision making
- Documenting all anomalies and issues, ensuring these are fully investigated and resolved
- Working as part of the De-Risking team and define solutions for remaining pension benefits, administration processes and record keeping and support the post-migrations calculation and payment of residual benefits
- Testing system change requests that are required, including specific reports such as triennial valuations, and delivering final migration to selected insurance providers and advisors
- Collaborating on bulk data migration, validation and reconciliation for third party systems
- Defining bulk mailing extracts for individual member statements in support of member queries
What you will need to Apply:
To be considered for this position, applicants should have a relevant pensions qualification and strong experience working with Defined Benefit structures, with complex benefit structure schemes. Applicants should be fantastic with data sets and be able to work with large volumes of data, including presenting it in manageable ways. Good communication skills will also be needed. Advanced Excel skills, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables are needed, alongside other experience using data query and validation software, SQL and Microsoft Access is also desired.

For the successful candidate, a starting salary in the region of £42,000 is available, depending on qualifications and experience held by the individual.
