Start date: September 2025 (option to start between June and October)
Purpose & Background
Avire is seeking a graduate electronics engineer to join our small, high impact R&D team. You will be designing emergency communication products that keep millions of people around the world safe, every single day. Working in a highly collaborative international environment, you will work as part of small, close-knit project teams formed from engineers based at our Maidenhead and Barcelona sites.
We are at the forefront of development of emergency communications systems and other safety-of-life products for the building services industry, with a particular focus on high-rise buildings. Your work will be critical to ensuring that building occupants, particularly less mobile occupants, and those with disabilities, are protected and able to communicate in the event of emergencies such as high-rise building fires.
You will play a key role in investigating new technologies and developing our next generation of products and services. We will offer you an environment that will challenge and support you in equal measure, nurturing your potential to help you achieve Chartered Engineer status and grow your career within Avire and our parent company, Halma Plc.
