Content Writer (b2b) - Permanent, Full-Time, Hybrid (London), £40-70k
Working for a diversified specialist business services provider, the Content Writer (b2b) / Copywriter will create informative and engaging articles on legal and company secretarial topics, specifically tailored for small business owners (SMBs). You don't need to have industry specific experience, as you will learn on the job, but you should have b2b Content Writing experience. The goal is to help these businesses understand complex legal matters while also ensuring the content ranks well on Google. A good understanding of SEO is therefore very desirable.
The ideal candidate is capable of quickly understanding and simplifying complex information into clear, engaging content. Any experience in writing on technical topics is a plus. You should be open to learning new legal and company secretarial subjects. Strong research skills, especially using authoritative sources, are essential, and you should be comfortable working within deadlines.
This is a hybrid role working 3 days a week in their Central London (zone 1) office. You will report into the Head of Content.
The Content Writer (b2b) / Copywriter will:
- Create thoroughly researched, high-quality articles for blogs, newsletters, and outreach efforts, focusing on technical legal and company secretarial topics. These articles should keep small business owners informed and help the content achieve strong rankings for relevant Google search terms.
- Develop a deep understanding of legal and company secretarial issues in our industries, enabling you to write technical content quickly and accurately.
- Collaborate with a team of writers and creatives, guided by the Content Manager, to produce impactful and current content for the small business community.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions when needed, including generating ideas for articles, campaigns, topics, and more.
- Meet deadlines consistently, supporting the Group's goals for its digital marketing strategies.
- Apply SEO best practices to ensure content is optimised for search engines.
The Content Writer (b2b) / Copywriter must have the following experience:
- *3-6 years of experience in creating high-quality b2b content for any b2b sector but experience in legal or company secretarial content is a plus.
- Good job longevity, i.e. You've worked with an existing client for a number of years.
- Highly motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Excellent command of written English, with the versatility to adapt to different writing styles as needed.
- Familiarity with WordPress is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
