About:
M. C. Xccessories Ltd is a leading supplier of soft accessories (men’s, ladies’, kid’s, baby), beachwear & lingerie to the UK Highstreet based in central London near Waterloo station.
Playing a crucial role within our dynamic team we have an exciting opportunity for a Soft Accessory Designer to work primarily across kids soft accessories & ladies lingerie for our key accounts.
The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who will be working closely with our account managers to bring innovative & commercial product to our customers.
Please note this is a full tIme position on a permanent contract.
Responsibilities:
- Designing & developing ranges of commercial product relevant to our different customer Accounts.
- Creating directional & commercial seasonal Trend Packs including Colour Palettes & identifying Key items.
- Presenting any Trend information, Packs & Product both in house & to customer buying teams.
- Market Research includes both online & inspirational London & Overseas shopping trips
- Identifying & Sourcing any relevant new fabrications/ techniques
- Tracking all actioned development & chasing factories including Teams calls
- Overseas travel to factories
- Ad hoc duties include preparing the showroom for meetings, helping on other accounts, researching new business opportunities & general office duties.
Skills:
- 4+ years’ experience in Soft Accessories with ideally an interest in Lingerie / gifting with an appetite for learning new areas.
- Strong Illustrator, photoshop & InDesign skills essential
- IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc-
