About the Role
As the Head of UK Agency Sales - Programmatic, you will lead and grow the programmatic sales function, focusing on establishing and nurturing key relationships with media agencies across the UK. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through programmatic solutions and developing strategies that position our company as a leading programmatic partner. This is a high-impact leadership role, requiring a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and expertise in programmatic technologies.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and execute the agency sales strategy for programmatic solutions in the UK market.
- Manage and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue and achieve sales targets through direct engagement with leading UK media agencies and brands.
- Identify new business opportunities and programmatic solutions to enhance client offerings.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with agency partners to maximize revenue potential.
- Build a new agency pipeline and onboarding these for success.
Agency Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at major media agencies and brands.
- Act as the primary point of contact for UK agencies, understanding their needs and positioning programmatic solutions to meet their goals.
- Regularly present programmatic trends, insights, and campaign performance to agency clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure programmatic solutions are effectively positioned and delivered.
- Partner with data and tech teams to ensure alignment of programmatic strategies with cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to share insights and best practices for programmatic sales success.
Market & Industry Expertise:
- Stay ahead of trends in programmatic advertising, digital media, and ad tech solutions, sharing insights with internal teams and clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, panels, and conferences as a thought leader in programmatic advertising.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.) in programmatic campaigns.
Qualifications
Proven experience (7+ years) in digital advertising, with a strong focus on programmatic sales and agency relationships. Demonstrated success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within ad tech, media, or programmatic platforms. Deep knowledge of programmatic buying, RTB, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and other relevant ad tech. Strong network and relationships within UK media agencies and brands. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance. Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with experience managing large-scale agency contracts. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy.

- Experience working with platforms like Google Marketing Platform, The Trade Desk, DV360, etc.
