About the Company:
This is a one off opportunity to join an innovative Impact Investment house. Its founding partners are power players in sustainable and impact investing space, and it is initially being assisted by one of the best known sustainable asset managers.
About the Role:
They are looking for a Sales/Client Director to join their experienced team, focusing on raising assets for their Asia Funds. You will have a strong academic background, a high level of interest in investments, in particular Impact Investing, and no less than 8 years relevant Institutional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Managing complex relationships
- A deep understanding of the Asian market
- Assisting or generating new business
- Onboarding of new clients
- Developing a client database
- Develop strong product knowledge through close collaboration with investment teams
- Sourcing, reviewing and detailing MI and market information
- Constant interaction with various internal departments to support ongoing client service and win new business
- General risk and compliance responsibilities dealing with new and established clients
- Refining and enhancing the approach to producing client and prospect communications
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have strong analytical and writing skills. Good organisational and time management skills are required are a pre-requisite. Successful candidates will have a strong interest in and understanding of Impact Investing and Climate related issues. The ability to thrive in an unstructured environment is key, as this is start up.
