As their ideal Chef Manager, you will: Have excellent craft skills
Preferably have experience of working in the independent school sector
Have proven experience of managing and leading a team
Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
Have good communication skills at all levels
Have a positive out going disposition and real Can-do approach
Be passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detail
The ability to manage the kitchen and train the team to standards required
Have a desire to learn and grow with us as a company
Have financial and budget awareness
The ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
