Lead Software Developer - Java
Location - London
Salary - £160k + Bonus
Type - Hybrid x3 days per week
We are seeking a Lead Software Developer to work on cutting-edge, low-latency systems using core Java. You'll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment that encourages pair programming and continuous learning, with opportunities to rotate between teams and develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop high-performance, reliable software and ensure thorough testing before deployment.
Work on both Back End and Front End components, including system architecture, performance optimization, and cloud-based solutions.
Collaborate closely with small teams of developers and testers to solve complex problems.
Contribute to a continuous integration environment, helping maintain a robust testing framework.
Tech Stack:
Backend: Java, MySQL, Kafka
Frontend: JavaScript, Vue.js
Deployment: Kubernetes, Nomad
Testing: JUnit, JMH, Selenium
Data: Python, Docker, Parquet
OS: Linux (Fedora for dev, Rocky for production)
