About theInternational Senior Sales Lead- Higher Education roleAs anInternational Senior Sales Lead- Higher Educationyou will play a pivotal role in the companies growth strategy. You will leverage extensive experience, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of primary source collections and services to drive revenue and exceed sales targets.
The International Senior Sales Lead- Higher Educationis responsible for establishing and nurturing key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and consistently embodying company values. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead by example, adapt to market trends, work across multiple territories and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies.
The International Senior Sales Lead- Higher Educationwill:
- Create and implement a strategic sales strategy and tactical plan for assigned regions and accounts, emphasising the need for a holistic approach to sales that goes beyond individual transactions
- Work closely with management to provide leadership within the sales team by setting performance expectations and fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
- Build long-term new and existing relationships with multiple stakeholders across the library and faculty in support of negotiating and closing business
Requirements for theInternational Senior Sales Lead- Higher Education:- 5+ years successful sales/account management experience within academic publishing or edtech
- Able to close perpetual and subscription based opportunities from £50- £500K
- Have the ability to build effective relationships quickly, with both internal and external stakeholders
- Be well organised with good prioritisation and problem-solving skills
- Happy with 30-40% international travel
