Our client, a leading American multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking to make a newly created hire for their rapidly expanding London office.
The role is broad, technical, and desk-facing, working directly with the EMEA Treasury Portfolio Manager. It involves interaction across all of the hedge fund’s investment strategies, providing a unique opportunity to see how the full hedge fund operates. This position offers exposure to one of the most advanced hedge fund treasury functions.
The role is highly technical and analytical, with a focus on developing advanced programming skills, particularly in Python. The firm has a strong track record of advancing operations employees into senior roles or other areas of the business (this has included front office moves).
Ideal candidates will have 2-6yrs experience in an operations function, either on the sell side or buy side, and strong programming skills in VBA, SQL, or Python.
The role has a wide base salary range, up to £100k depending on level of experience, to ensure that the successful hire receives an attractive step up on his/her current base salary. In the US, the firm offer star performers some of the best bonuses in the market for non-investment roles and they expect to offer London hies similar incentives.
