Trade Association
Home Based, Remote with some but limited work travel. For example, one day every two months.Basic Salary £30,000-£35,000 dependant on experience with benefits including Holiday entitlement is 25 days and eight public holidays.Full Time, Permanent (There is an option for flexible working, including agreeing to shorter hours at a pro-rata salary).
My client a reputable and established trade association with 150 company members within financial services sector is currently searching for a Membership Coordinator
The Role of Membership Coordinator
The Membership Coordinator oversees all aspects of membership for the Trade Association and Trade Association Academy, including renewals, new member recruitment, and record maintenance. We are looking for someone who can actively help grow both the membership and the Trade Association Academy. Working closely with other team members and willing to bring forward ideas for development. They also manage financial tasks and coordinate with our management accountants and auditors. Additionally, the role involves organising internal meetings, tracking team progress, handling member inquiries, researching potential new members, and supporting events like summits and conferences.
Qualifications and Experience:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time management skills.
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Desirable:
Experience in a membership management role, ideally within a trade association or similar organisation
Experience in event management - for example, organising of small member events and supporting a larger annual member event.
Experience in Learning and Development would be helpful as we develop our Academy.
Some understanding of online accountancy packages, especially Xero.
Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices.
Familiarity with membership marketing strategies and tools.
