Role Description
We are currently looking for an experienced immigration consultant/advisor to lead and operate the immigration division within the business. This is a full-time, on-site role for an immigration consultant located in Aberdeen. You would have the opportunity to build your career with a great brand.
The Consultant will be responsible for managing immigration issues, visas, law, consulting, and global immigration. The role requires the candidate to provide expert guidance and advice to clients and customers navigating the UK's immigration process.
The role will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes such as:
- Led the visa team in the business
- Assisting with sponsor licence applications & supporting client requirements
- Managing visa application processes under the skilled worker routes.
- Advising on the right to work in the UK.
- Advice on personal immigration matters.
- Developing relationships with clients, including delivering training to clients on immigration compliance.
- Any other duties as required by the immigration team.
We will be progressing applicants to the next stage based on applications demonstrating the following knowledge, experience and skills:
- Be registered with SRA/OISC
- Have excellent knowledge of Immigration Laws, visa categories, application forms, procedures, and requirements;
- Knowledge to correctly apply the relevant Immigration Rules and Regulations to suit the circumstances of each client;
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to manage a heavy workload to meet tight deadlines;
- have an interest in long-term development/progression in the department.
Relevant professional qualifications are desirable, and we are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with clients from a diverse range of backgrounds.
