A leading charitable educational organization is seeking a Regional Director of Finance/ Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and strategy across the UK region. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering a unique opportunity to lead financial processes and drive organizational growth across a diverse range of campuses. You will be reporting to the UK MD, and have a dotted line to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dynamic finance team to deliver timely financial reports and audits
- Implement and refine financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate annual financial planning and budgeting processes
- Provide financial insights and strategic direction to leadership teams and stakeholders across 20+ campuses
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align financial strategy with overall organizational goals
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and mitigate risks
- Drive change management and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
- A hands-on finance leader with a strategic mindset 🎯
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence and work with diverse teams across multiple locations
- Experience in financial and management reporting systems, with the ability to lead in a complex, multi-site environment
- While charity or third-sector experience is a plus, we welcome candidates from a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, or non-profit organizations
