National Account Manager - Lidl
Location: x4 days a week working from their office in North Yorkshire
The Role: Part of one of the largest food manufacturing producers in Canada, this exciting business have an exceptional opportunity to join their National Accounts team, taking full responsibility on the Lidl account representing their outstanding range of high quality, branded and own-label meat products. This role is a traditional, out and out National Account Manager role, where you will be solely focused on the growth and development of your given account, Lidl. You will be dealing with key decision makers within the account, including Buyers, Technical and NPD, working closely with them to maintain and grow performance. With an annual spend of circa £70 million this role will offer significant responsibility and you will undertake all the general key responsibilities of a NAM such as managing JBP's, P&L, devising and implementing promotional activities, budgeting and forecasting. The role will be predominantly office based at their site in the Malton, to encourage strong internal relationships with all departments, as well as to enable collaboration within the National Accounts team, so you will be need to live within commutable distance.
The Person:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will...
- Ideally an individual on an upward trajectory in their career - someone at NAE/Junior NAM level looking for a step up in their career.
- Currently be managing one of the top 6/7 grocery accounts.
- Have a demonstrable track record in developing and maintaining trade agreements, creating annual growth plans, managing P&L and devising and implementing JBP's.

The Package:
- Basic salary between £40-60'000 (dependent on current package and experience)
