Pan-European developer, financing, and operations working across onshore wind, solar and BESS
Over the last 5 years, this company has gone from strength to strength. They’ve seen their UK team over triple in size, to encompass full development, land, design and grid teams as well as internal financial and operations teams.
Since their inception, they have now opened 2 more offices to allow them to expand into European markets. They are now steadily growing their Milan office, to mirror the structure of their London HQ. Their team now stands at just shy of 40 across their 3 offices, with their sights set on continuing this consistent growth. They’re always eager to progress from within, advocating for promotions and progression within the group.
The team is varied in skillset, being able to progress projects through development, grid connections, financing stages and into operational functions. They also cover a variety of technologies including onshore wind, solar and BESS. Their current pipeline standing above 10GW, with connection dates starting as early as next year! These also vary in scale with some projects reaching up to 99.9MW.
Alongside this central European growth, they are still growing at their heart. This role is brand new into their technical team and will allow you to work amongst some really experienced technical engineers in the industry. You’d potentially be working across pan European projects as the team is extremely collaborative.
The role:
The role is broad and has scope to work through the full engineering lifecycle. The team is looking to bring in their own construction arm throughout the next year, so you’d have opportunity to grow into owners engineering stages.
The immediate role will include:
- HV and MV substation design work and SLD drafting.
- Interpreting and conducting power flow studies, as well as working closely with grid and power consultancies for studies.
- Negotiating with DNOs and TSOs for grid offers. Maintaining and establishing relations and - communications with various external stakeholder throughout this process.
- Working closely with Pan-European design/technical teams as well as development functions.
- Managing costs for connection agreements, ensuring connections are meeting key milestones with all relevant work being completed.
