Operating from the UK head Office based in Chester; you will be the Commercial Finance Business Partner for an organisation that truly values its employees and strives to create a positive working environment. Working closely with the Commercial Financial Controller and working in a large finance team. This is a highly visible/ commercial role in which you will be instrumental in supporting commercial decisions and growing business profitability through working closely with all key budget holders and stakeholders to deliver optimum business performance.
The Finance Business Partners remit will include:
- Provide insightful analysis to support & enhance product/promotional sales and margin performance; proactively challenging performance when necessary.
- Scenario planning the impact to sales and margin for potential price and promotion changes.
- Actively contributing to short /medium & long term margin and Commercial income reforecasts forecasts; with a clear understanding of how current performance may impact margin versus budget.
- Supporting the sales teams with sales and cost models to support new customer negotiations.
- Review and challenge commercial proposals, identifying risks and opportunities vs budget.
- Other Ad-Hoc duties as is required by the Commercial Financial Director.
Applicants will be Part Qualified/ Finalist or Fully Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with Commercial Management Accounts/Financial Analysis Experience in a previous role.
