We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales and Operations Manager to join our team in Aberdeen. This pivotal role will involve a combination of business development and client account management responsibilities, focusing on driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional client service within the healthcare sector.
Business Development
• Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target key healthcare decision-makers.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, client needs, and growth areas within the healthcare recruitment industry.
• Create customised business proposals and present them to prospective clients.
• Negotiate terms of contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with the company's goals.
• Conduct effective sales presentations and pitches to showcase our recruitment services and solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing NHS/Private clients.
Client Account Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for existing NHS clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and addressing any issues or concerns.
• Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
• Understand clients' specific recruitment needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process, from candidate sourcing and screening to placement and onboarding.
• Proactively address client concerns and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client recruitment needs are met efficiently and on time.
• Provide clients regular updates on recruitment progress, market trends, and performance metrics, offering data-driven insights.
Operations Management
• Oversee the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring that operational processes are streamlined and efficient to meet client demands.
• Manage and mentor the recruitment and support teams, ensuring that they are aligned with business goals and client expectations.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve client satisfaction.
• Monitor sales, recruitment, and operational KPIs to ensure that targets are met and the business is progressing towards its growth objectives.
• Oversee operational budgets, ensuring financial targets are met without compromising service quality.
Collaboration and Communication
• Work closely with marketing, finance, and recruitment teams to ensure seamless departmental operations and communication.
• Effectively communicate with senior management to provide updates on sales forecasts, operational challenges, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop recruitment solutions tailored to the healthcare sector's unique needs.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, human resources, or a related field. An MBA or advanced qualifications in recruitment or healthcare management is a bonus.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business development, client management, or sales roles within the healthcare or recruitment industry.
• Proven sales and business development track record within the healthcare recruitment industry.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare sector and its recruitment challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using CRM and other sales tools.
