In this crucial role, you’ll ensure that every component of our production machinery operates at peak efficiency. You'll be the go-to problem solver, expertly handling preventative maintenance and urgent repairs. Your mechanical prowess and electrical savvy will keep our lines running smoothly and drive innovations that enhance our operational capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure high performance and compliance with all health and safety standards.
- Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvement projects to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and cross-functional PM.
- Manage utilities such as low extractions, energy usage, and water systems to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Oversee fire alarm systems and maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations.
- Lead and commission Certification of Conformity (C of C) projects.
- Provide maintenance support on weekends as required.
- Servicing and upgrading equipment to boost operational efficiency.
- Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification with meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Engineering Qualification such as Apprenticeship, HNC, BTECH, or equivalent. Strong levels in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Proven experience in a Food Safe Manufacturing Environment.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills
The Practicalities
Location: Unit 2, Sence Court, Bardon Hill, Coalville, LE67 1GZ.
Work Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (flexible core days, 9-hour shifts)
Reporting to: Operations Manager
