YOU
As our Equipment Commercial Manager you will define, build and execute our equipment channel strategy. It is critical that you can really bring this to life within our sales function and influence our retail partners through others, to execute our vision. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining our equipment selling tools and delivering training. You will also play a pivotal role in assessing the viability of our chilled equipment, driving pre and post evaluation as well as providing our Chilled Solutions Manager with a forward forecast for new equipment.
YOUR ROLE
Channel Strategy
- Keep close to the Gemba, with particular focus on channel activity and industry equipment development
- Use data analysis, market insight and channel priorities to understand where the best opportunities lie for Suntory Chilled Equipment for the next 5 years
- Create, gain alignment to, and maintain a Commercial Equipment Channel Strategy to deliver on these opportunities
- Work with the National Accounts & Field Sales team on key priorities to build and execute within the strategy
- Maintain KPI tracking & scorecards. Create and deliver course correction plans (if needed) to ensure goal deliver
- Help support the wider Equipment Strategy, through providing 6-month forward forecasts for new equipment and being a champion of our Win in Cold Strategy.
Equipment Viability & ROI
- Clearly defines and manages the viability of the equipment ROI criteria
- Creates and share’s regular pre and post evaluation on Equipment performance
- Drives solutions to turn around poor performing chiller solutions
Training & Selling Tools
- Creates and maintains Selling tools for the National Accounts & field Sales Teams. Ensures materials support the specific account needs
- Creates and updates training tools, help to on-board new starters into the world of chilled equipment.

- Delivering Results | Sets and achieves clear and ambitious goals, holding self and others responsible and accountable for attaining results.
- FMCG experience
- Direct experience of working with Retail Partners and/or chilled equipment is desirable.
