Contentious Trusts & Probate - Associate Solicitor - Up to £70,000 salary
This is a superb opportunity to join a progressive Legal 500 law firm within their award-winning Dispute Resolution department, offering specialist quality legal advice to a broad range of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals and businesses.
The contentious trusts and probate team handles a full range of matters including advising on the removal of executors and trustees, defending claims by beneficiaries, Power of Attorney disputes, court of protection and succession disputes, and Inheritance Act claims.
The firm requires an Associate with demonstrable experience running a complex caseload of contentious trust and contentious probate matters.
The role involves working closely with the Head of Department on business development opportunities so an aptitude for networking and generating leads will be hugely beneficial.
The Candidate
- Contentious Trusts & Probate Lawyer with 1-5 years post-qualification experience
- A member of STEP or ACTAPS would be highly advantageous
- Strong technical ability, commercial acumen, and a passion for business development
- Ability to manage a varied caseload of trust and probate cases from inception to resolution
- Ability to work within a team to develop and grow the department
- Demonstrated success in high-value and complex cases
- Strong academic profile
