We have a fantastic opportunity for a Talent Acquisition & Retention Manager to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role can be based at our Regional Support Office in Warwick or from home / remote working.
The RegionalTalent Acquisition & Retention Manager is responsible for driving the talent strategyacross all the UK Region. Ensuring we identify, develop and retain ‘top talent’ and to ensure a pipeline of teachers and support staff for vacant roles as they arise and for the succession planning of key positions across the UK region.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior-level recruitment role.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of sourcing and recruitment methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in utilising technology solutions and recruitment tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or 5+ years’experience in a talent or recruitment role.
- Proven experience operating efficiently, proactively and relatively autonomously in a busy,hands-on role.
- Proven experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand OSG’s current talent pool and recruitment needs to be able to develop effective retention, recruitment and succession plans that align with our strategic objectives.
- Map and oversee the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes and initiate changes to enhance the candidate experience.
- Develop and evolve a ‘9 box model’ or similar model to score our current staff members, ensuring a consistent and reliable approach is adopted.
- Lead and mentor the Regional Recruitment Manager and Coordinator.
- Partner with our Marketing/Communications Team to drive the various marketing campaigns to enhance talent attraction and engagement, utilising a diverse range of platforms to develop a strong employer brand and develop brand awareness in the market to assist in building strong talent pipelines. and evolve employer brand initiatives and recruitment campaigns through effective use of marketing, events, and a digital strategy that boosts OSG’s digital footprint.
- Refine and implement the UK recruitment and retention strategy fully utilising the HRIS Dayforcesystem to enable OSG to attract the best talent in a challenging and competitive marketplace.
- Manage the deployment of the virtual interviewing platform, and other recruitment technology tools.
- Build and managetalent pools of passive and active candidates for every campusacross the UK.
