We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Regional Operations Manager to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role can be based at our Regional Support Office in Warwick or from home / remote working.
The Regional Human Resources Operations Manager (HRM) is established to lead the delivery of effective and efficient Human Resources (HR) operations in line with the regional and global vision, strategy, and values.
About You
- Have Strong knowledge of all HR processes and practices, and employment legislation making commercial HR decisions and knowledge of Data Protection and Confidentiality.
- Have experience in a regulated sector with strong Trade Union presence
- Have up to date knowledge of employment law, making commercial HR decisions and knowledge of Data Protection and Confidentiality
- Be CIPD Level 5 qualified or 7 preferred, Postgraduate level HR qualification or equivalent experience (10 years minimum)
- Maintain an up-to-date Knowledge of school regulatory and compliance requirements and employment changes
- Experience with HR information systems, in delivery of operational HR support.
- Develop a ‘One Team’ culture both within the HR team and wider UK business
- Set an example of positive personal integrity and professionalism, with positive, appropriate and effective communications and relationships at all levels

Key responsibilities:
Functional Management
- Influence and facilitate the continued growth of a positive and productive workplace culture, aligned with the organisational strategy, vision and values.
- Flag emerging, significant HR issues to the Regional HRD and relevant leadership.
- Develop high-quality partnerships across the school and other supporting functions and ensure the delivery of HR operational excellence.
- Act as a point of escalation for, and take carriage of, high-level employee relations, performance management or grievance matters.
Planning and Improvement
- Provide strategic and value-adding reporting, data analysis and trends reporting to enable strong and informed decision-making across the Region.
- Develop, review, and implement relevant Human Resources policies and processes whilst ensuring compliance with the relevant authorities or organisational directives.
- Advise on, and support, organisational change, and restructure processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policy
Team Management
- Set and oversee performance expectations for the HR team within the Region, ensuring team members are accountable, focused and value adding partners.
- Ensure HR team members have clarity on, and support to address, developmental needs.
- Oversee the management of the Dayforce HR System within the Region, ensuring accurate staff information, workflows, and reporting.
- Work alongside the Regional Recruitment function to ensure a timely and effective service that supports school operations.
