Position Title: Assistant Surveyor
Department: Global Occupier Services
Salary: £26,000- £28,000
As a key member of our Occupier Management Team based in Birmingham, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional estate management services to one of our key accounts.
Responsibilities:
Support the Portfolio Management Team with daily property management tasks.
Handle Applications for Consent on behalf of clients with minimal supervision.
Assist clients with Managed Exits, coordinating with FM and solicitors.
Coordinate with the Accounts Team on rent and service charge payments.
Manage database updates and invoice approvals with the Property Administration Team.
Liaise with landlords and third parties on minor issues, escalating when needed.
Communicate regularly with clients on key task progress.
Provide advice and support on property management matters.
Assist the Estates Lead with reporting and ensure regular updates.
Undertake basic tasks such as license renewals and internal agreements.
Record minutes and actions during client meetings.
Support the Estates Helpdesk with lease interpretation and liaising with FM suppliers.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs
At least 1 year of commercial property experience preferred.
RICS accredited degree preferred.
Knowledge & Experience:
Knowledge of property management and lease terms.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; quick to learn new software.
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Basic understanding of property finance and accounting.
Good organizational skills, initiative, and team collaboration.

Plans and prioritizes workload effectively to meet property management goals.
Delivers property management thoroughly within agreed standards.
Seeks efficiencies and cost savings for clients.
Builds strong relationships with clients, advisers, and colleagues.
