The Role
As a Billing/Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes. You will be responsible for analysing billing data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting the development of systems that optimise our billing operations. You’ll work closely with the finance and data teams to ensure a smooth flow of information and provide insights that help drive strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed billing analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance billing processes and ensure accurate invoicing.
- Support the finance department with revenue assurance and data integrity checks.
- Develop and maintain billing models and reports to provide clear insights into performance.
- Work with large datasets to ensure accuracy and efficiency in billing cycles.
- Assist in identifying and implementing system improvements for billing automation.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries and issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a billing analyst or data analyst role, ideally within the energy sector (preferred but not essential).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with billing systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus.
- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is desirable.
