The primary responsibility of this role is to effectively oversee and be responsible for the management of the end-to-end bordereaux validation, payment and mapping process for the business. Providing MI to influence business decisions, delivering operational excellence through continuous innovation and improvements and building and maintaining effective relationships with all key stakeholders to support business continuity and service levels.
You will utilise specific technical skills to support and deliver a high quality, professional service to the underwriting team, senior management team and the wider business including external clients and brokers.
You will have a excellent industry and technical knowledge in the areas of bordereaux management, regulation and compliance as well as demonstrating key attributes of a an exemplary operator i.e. communication; organisation, problem solving etc.
You will be required to build positive relationships and partnerships with the underwriters, management team, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
Whilst executing the responsibilities of this role you will be trusted with the handling of sensitive data, both personal and financial - you must follow all governing and company policies and deadlines to ensure our compliance.
You will organise your time systematically and efficiently, but also using your own initiative to arrange work and resources for yourself to facilitate task achievement within the required timeframes.
You may be delegated tasks which should be completed in a timely manner in addition to your duties, as dictated by the needs of the business.
This role requires you to be data driven, accurate, compliant and methodical, and actively support the objectives for the business.
Role Specification
Bordereaux Management:
- Be responsible for the management of the end-to-end bordereaux process, effectively validating, reconciling and troubleshooting at all stages.
- Manage and respond to all bordereaux related queries and exception reporting.
- Production of periodic MI for the purposes of reporting to senior management and others where applicable.
- Consistently seek to improve processes and management information ensuring it is accurate and fit for purpose.
- Ensuring compliance with company policy, customer service standards and external compliance regulations
- Liaising with key stakeholders and clients utilising all forms of communication including phone, email, online platform or in person
Team Expectations:

- Delivering departmental KPIs and SLAs - continuously challenging the status quo and striving to exceed expectations
