Salary and Uncapped Commission – OTE £60,000 +++

As part of our expansion plans, we have an exciting opportunity and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Consultant to set up and lead our new White-Collar Temp/Interim Construction desk.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Recruitment Consultant with a proven track record in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to spearhead the establishment of a new desk focused on white collar temporary and interim placements within the construction sector. You will play a pivotal role in developing client relationships, sourcing high-calibre candidates, and delivering outstanding recruitment services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desk Setup and Development: Establish and grow the White-Collar Temp/Interim Construction Desk, identifying and targeting key market opportunities.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
- Candidate Sourcing: Attract, screen, and place qualified candidates in temporary and interim white-collar roles within the construction sector.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client base and driving revenue growth.
- Market Insights: Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to provide informed recruitment advice and strategies.
- Consultative Approach: Offer expert guidance to clients and candidates, ensuring a seamless and professional recruitment experience.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of recruitment experience, with a focus on the construction sector, particularly in white collar roles.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the construction industry, including key roles, market trends, and recruitment challenges.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in building and managing a recruitment desk, achieving targets, and delivering results.
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and candidates.
- Business Acumen: Strong business development skills, with a proactive and strategic approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
- Motivation and Drive: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently to achieve targets and drive desk growth.
